Gadgets for the Holidays

As a gadget lover, i struggle with the problem every christmas.  People ask me what I want, and its very hard to tell them exactly what to buy me for a few reasons.

1. Gadgets can be expensive, and I don't expect people to buy me expensive stuff
2. The gadgets I love and want can be very specific, and its just hard to expect a non-gadget lover to buy the correct thing for me.  I end up just asking for a gift certificate.
3. Finding good gadgets is hard.

That last point brings me to my next point.  I thought I would share a couple of great site to buy gadgets.  I am not endourced by any of these companies, they are just a couple of my favorite...

• http://www.mcminone.com/ - is a great site because you can find lots of stuff at great prices.  Thier web site admitadly sucks, but their catalog is great.  I recommend ordering one, they will send you a few through out the year
• http://www.ebay.com/ - ebay is a great place to find gagets, knock offs, and broken stuff worth fixing.  Ebay needs no introduction
• http://www.bestbuy.com/ - Yes, i know bestbuy is one of those big box stores, but it is my favorite place to buy stuff when I need/want it quick.  It used to be my favorite place to get CDs but now I just buy digital copies on itunes and walmart and such
• http://www.woot.com/ - Want a good deal on a gadget?  Youll have to wait for the right day on this site, but deals abound here.
